Unless stated otherwise in the Newsletter event description, the following terms apply:

Evening / Day events (not ticketed)

Evening / Day events (not ticketed): Providing you give us more than five full working days notice you will receive a full refund less a £3 Cancellation Fee per person booked. Working days are counted as Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays, so this usually means more than one week's notice.

Ticketed Events

Ticketed Events: eg. Theatre, Concerts etc... Sorry, these are not refundable unless we can resell your place.

Events with an overnight stay & events costing over £100

Events with an overnight stay & Events Costing Over £100 (not Holidays or Overseas): Providing you give us more than fifteen working days notice you will receive a full refund less a Cancellation Fee of £15 per person booked. Working days are counted as Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays, so this usually means more than 3 week's notice.

Holidays and Overseas trips

Holidays and Overseas trips (i.e. more than three overnights or outside UK): See special terms printed at the back of the newsletter (or Holiday Supplement if Spice UK). Cancellation should be in writing. Cancellation Policy is as per the Tour Operator's Terms and Conditions.


Our policy is that wherever possible we will try to resell your place in order to get you a refund whatever the timescale, so do let us know if you can't make an event, even at short notice and we will do our best to help. If you simply do not turn up for an Event without contacting us you will automatically forfeit any monies paid, and will be liable for any balance.

Should Spice cancel any Event you will initially be sent a full refund by credit note. Credit notes can used in payment for a future event or converted at any time into a cheque or credited back to your credit card (by law we must credit back to a credit card if you paid by a credit card). Credit notes cannot be used for payments to Spice UK or to other Spice groups.
