Join Spice today as we visit the Slimbridge Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust Centre in Gloucestershire. Itís a relaxing day out where you can learn many interesting things about the wildlife and just relax in the beautiful, natural surroundings. Thereís plenty of birdlife with Slimbridge being lucky enough to be the only place in the world where you can see all six species of flamingos, as well as glimpse Hawaiian geese, Cranes and Eider ducks to name a few. The mammals at the Back from the Brink area include harvest mice, water voles, shrews, otters and a beaver. Try to spot the beaver if he comes out for a swim, see the otters being fed or try to spot a tiny harvest mouse or a shrew.Thereís a guided walk at 10.30am and an otter talk at 11.30am where we can meet the friendly family of Otters: Flo, Minnie and Ha Ha and hear a talk as they tuck into a tasty fish. Itís a fabulous way to spend a day
