Spice Gives Back
Spice West Midlands pride ourselves on being a "big hearted" organisation, and our members share this philosophy. Spice members love giving back to the communities we serve, and to help others to get the most out of life.
As well as running events that raise lots of money for worthy causes, we help in a practical way with events such as litter picking and conservation projects.

Charities that have recently benenefited from our fund raising events in the West Midlands include:
Great Midlands Fun Run (each year approx £1000 in sponsorship of the event itself plus around £1000 each year raised by members to the year's nominated Spice Charity)
Leukemia Research St Basils RSPCA Save the Children Alzheimers Society
Charities Disaster Emergency Committee Altitude Medicine Foundation
Birmingham Dogs Home Dogs Trust Retired Greyhounds Trust
Dogs for the Disabled Blue Cross Horse Rehoming Friends of the Earth
St Giles Hospice Amnesty International Vulcan Bomber Trust
National Memorial Arboretum Antony Nolan Trust Guide Dogs for the Blind
Riding for the Disabled The Cancer Support Centre... .. and many others
National Spice Initiatives
We also enjoy big national fundraising events where all the Spice Groups get together to have fun in a good cause. In 2009 we held a "Duck Race" down the rapids at Center Parcs in Nottingham. This raised around £5000 for The Make a Wish Foundation.
